For a weekend clean-up, a few days' notice gives you the widest choice of delivery windows. Trade and site bins are best booked as soon as the stage dates are locked in. Same-day and next-day delivery is sometimes possible depending on the run — call and ask.

It happens on most first bookings. If the bin fills early we can arrange a swap so an empty bin replaces the full one. Stepping one size up at the start is usually simpler than organising a second delivery.

Soil, concrete, brick and tile are dense, so a bin reaches its safe carrying weight well before it looks full. For those materials we supply a smaller bin and ask that it is filled level rather than heaped.

Hazardous and regulated materials are excluded — including asbestos, chemicals, paint, oils, gas bottles, batteries, tyres, medical waste and liquids. If you are unsure about an item, call us before it goes in the bin and we will point you to the right disposal path.

You can, but a clean green-only load can be recovered as mulch, so it is worth keeping separate where the job allows. Let us know when booking which stream your load will be.

On your property wherever practical — a driveway, hardstand or firm, level yard area. The driver needs clear overhead space and a straight approach. If the only option is on the street, you will need to check what approvals apply with the relevant local authority before delivery.

Bins sit on skids and are lowered rather than dropped. If your driveway is decorative, freshly sealed or paved, tell us when booking and we can place timber or boards under the skids.

Allow a clear straight run of about 3 metres wide and around 6 metres of overhead clearance for the truck to lift and place the bin. Low branches, carport beams, power lines and gates are the usual obstacles.

Yes. A rear door lets you wheel heavy items in rather than lifting them over the side, which makes a big difference with appliances, furniture and full barrows. Ask for a walk-in bin when you call.

Level with the top rail. Loads have to be transported safely, so anything heaped above the rim needs to come off before the bin can be lifted. Break down bulky items and load flat to get the most from the space.

Not usually, as long as the placement spot is clear, accessible and agreed in advance, and any gates are unlocked. Send us a photo or a clear description of where you want it.

Loads are taken to licensed transfer and recycling facilities where recoverable material such as timber, metal, concrete and green waste is separated for processing.
